You can get them on itunes.Įvaluate what the children have learned. Sing “Live a Pure Life” by the Donut Man or “Create in Me / Children of the King” by Mary Rice Hopkins. Or have them write a news article or draw a picture about this story. Older kids may enjoy writing about how God speaks to them. Have some helpers act out this story – or the story “Hearing Problems” from Keys for Kids. Gospel Hall also has a mini-book featuring Samuel. In the temple.(Read the story to the children because at this age some of the children do not read smoothly, which hinders comprehension for the whole class.) Have the children open their Bibles to 1 Samuel 3 or page 217 in The Golden Children’s Bible. Pray and ask God to teach the children not just head knowledge, but also heart knowledge.
